TASK ORDER NOTICE TO THE GOVERNMENT OF DELAYS Clause Samples

The "Task Order Notice to the Government of Delays" clause requires a contractor to promptly notify the government if they anticipate or experience any delays in fulfilling a task order. In practice, this means the contractor must communicate expected or actual delays, providing relevant details such as the cause and estimated duration, to allow the government to assess the impact on project timelines. This clause ensures transparency and enables the government to take appropriate action to mitigate the effects of delays, thereby maintaining project oversight and minimizing disruptions.

Although the period of performance may change due to the delay, the price may be subject to a downward adjustment. c) If the Government delays performance of this contract, the period of performance and/or price may be revised upon mutual agreement between the Government and the Contractor.
