TEACHER ASSIGNMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS. A. Teacher Assignments. No new teacher shall be employed by the District for a regular full-time teaching position who does not have a bachelor's degree and appropriate certification, except temporarily and for good cause. Furthermore, teachers shall not be assigned outside the scope of their teaching certificates and their major or minor fields of study, except temporarily and for good cause. The Association shall be so notified in each instance and shall be provided with a written statement of reasons for such assignment. Temporarily shall be defined for purposes of this Article as not to exceed beyond the current school year.
