Teacher Preparation. The Board shall make every attempt to limit to two (2) the number of course preparations required of teachers in grades 7-12, but in no case shall it exceed three (3) preparations unless teachers voluntarily agree for exceptional situations. Within each department, the Board shall strive to maintain teacher schedules that shall be equitable in teaching load, administrative assignments and course content (e.g., advanced courses, labs, academic v. non-academic classes). Teachers/department chairs shall have the opportunity to provide input into the development of schedules and such input shall be given every consideration.
Teacher Preparation. Jr.-Sr High School teachers shall have an equal unassigned preparation period. Elementary school teachers shall have an unassigned preparation period of not less than 30 minutes per day, including transport time. In the Jr.-Sr. High School every effort will be made to limit a teacher's academic subject preparations to a maximum of five (5). In the event an assignment exceeding this maximum is deemed necessary, such will be made only after consultation with the teacher. A teacher’s duty free lunch period shall be no less than 30 minutes. No teacher shall have his/her current lunch, planning, or conference time reduced as a result of block scheduling.
Teacher Preparation. Teacher instructional preparation time shall be administratively scheduled. In unusual circumstances, the administration may assign teachers during such periods as necessary.
Teacher Preparation. Florida Statutes require district inter-institutional articulation agreements include a plan that outlines the mechanisms and strategies for improving the preparation of elementary, middle, and high school teachers. All teachers have Individual Professional Plans that reflect their individual needs. These needs are met through a variety of opportunities, including inservice workshops and college courses.
Teacher Preparation. Manatee Community College and the Sarasota County School Board will address the teacher critical shortage and improve the preparation of elementary, middle, and high school teachers by jointly administering the following pre-service and in-service Teacher Preparation Program activities: Expansion of the Para-to-Teacher Program (PTP), a pre-service teacher preparation program started in Fall 2001 that provides scholarship funds for teacher aides in Sarasota County to complete teaching degrees, to receive specialized advisement throughout the program, and, for selected teacher aides, to be guaranteed a job upon graduation. This program is a partnership program between Sarasota County, Manatee Community College, and the University of South Florida Sarasota/Manatee.
Teacher Preparation. Wherever departmentally feasible, all efforts will be made to limit an individual teacher's preparations to three (3) per day per semester, unless the affected teacher is consulted and this is waived in writing through the Department Supervisor to the principal. All teachers involved in team teaching situations shall be provided with a common planning period when feasible. The district will develop a “connection period” which will occur each Wednesday with the exception of School Improvement Days. Connection periods will begin the first Wednesday in September. The connection period will be eliminated commencing with the 2016-17 school year and thereafter.
Teacher Preparation. In-service Education: In-service education consists of experience that is planned to help individuals and groups in their work. The Superintendent of Schools is responsible for the development, maintenance, and operation of an appropriate program of employee service improvement by means of in-service training. He/she, therefore, has the power under budget control to grant temporary leaves of absence or to assign certain employees the responsibility of participating in professional conferences in or out of the city. One aspect of this responsibility is the development and effective operation of curriculum planning special course, and other special activities that will provide a complete and adequate system of instruction and care for all pupils attending school.
Teacher Preparation. Lesson plans shall be submitted for weekly planning. Lesson plans shall include provisions for technology, including audiovisual aids and field trips and must be submitted as per District policy. Supervisors may request semester plans to be prepared by teachers based on individual needs.

  • Joint Preparation The preparation of this Agreement has been a joint effort of the parties and the resulting documents shall not, solely as a matter of judicial construction, be construed more severely against one of the parties than the other.

  • Site Preparation Axon will provide a hardcopy or digital copy of current user documentation for the Axon Devices ("User Documentation"). User Documentation will include all required environmental specifications for the professional services and Axon Devices to operate per the Axon Device User Documentation. Before installation of Axon Devices (whether performed by Customer or Axon), Customer must prepare the location(s) where Axon Devices are to be installed ("Installation Site") per the environmental specifications in the Axon Device User Documentation. Following installation, Customer must maintain the Installation Site per the environmental specifications. If Axon modifies Axon Device User Documentation for any Axon Devices under this Agreement, Axon will provide the update to Customer when Axon generally releases it

  • Proposal Preparation The contractor shall assume all costs associated with preparation of proposals for task order awards under the proposal process as an indirect charge (B&P costs). The Government will not reimburse awardees for proposals as a direct charge.

  • Surface Preparation Clean the surface to be treated of all dust, dirt, clay, grass, sod and any other deleterious matter before application of the asphalt surface treatment.

  • DOCUMENT PREPARATION The Transfer/Deed shall, save for the Land Transfer Tax Affidavit, be prepared in registrable form at the expense of Seller, and any Charge/Mortgage to be given back by the Buyer to Seller at the expense of the Buyer. If requested by Buyer, Seller covenants that the Transfer/Deed to be delivered on completion shall contain the statements contemplated by Section 50(22) of the Planning Act, R.S.O.1990.
