Teachers’ Lounge Sample Clauses
Teachers’ Lounge. The Board recognizes the beneficial effects of a teachers' lounge upon the morale of the teachers. While the effect of utilizing school building space designated as a teacher's lounge is viewed as beneficial, the overall effects upon the instructional program of total building utilization must be considered in designating an area as a teachers' lounge. Instructional needs such as the nature of the instructional program or the level of student enrollment are recognized as having an effect upon total space utilization within a given school building. In order to give full consideration to all factors, the building principal will, after reviewing the nature of the instructional program and level of student enrollment:
3.4.1 Identify the various space options available for designation as a teachers' lounge.
3.4.2 Review with the school staff, which of the available areas will be designated exclusively as a teachers' lounge. Lounges shall be free from noisy reproduction machinery, etc., when possible.
3.4.3 Designate which area(s) shall be used as a teachers' lounge(s) based on a majority opinion of the teachers.
Teachers’ Lounge. The Employer shall maintain a clean and healthful faculty room/lounge for all members of the bargaining unit. The room shall contain the following:
A. adequate chairs;
B. sink;
C. telephone for employee use (local calls only); D. microwave oven; and
Teachers’ Lounge. Every school shall have at least one teachers’ lounge which is kept clean and provided with suitable furniture.
Teachers’ Lounge. If space is available, the Board will provide a lounge and lunch area for the use of the teachers in each school. ARTICLE NINETEEN - Class Size and Student Contact
Teachers’ Lounge. A teachers' lounge shall be provided in each building when possible. It shall be comfortably furnished and cleaned daily.
Teachers’ Lounge. The Board shall provide a facility in each building with eight (8) or more full-time teachers which may be used as a teachers’ lounge, provided that the teachers of such building shall be responsible for the upkeep of such area aside from normal, general cleaning.
Teachers’ Lounge. A minimum of one (1) faculty lounge shall be provided in each building. Physical and aesthetic standards shall be determined by the Building Principal working cooperatively with the Faculty Advisory Committee. Where possible, additional faculty lounges may be established.
Teachers’ Lounge. The Board will make available in each school special facilities for the exclusive use of school employees to use during unassigned periods.
Teachers’ Lounge. A. Teachers’ Lounges must provide adequate seating, table space, heating and ventilation, and be designed exclusively for staff use. Provision shall be made for separate lavatory facilities for male and female teachers.
B. Where teachers wish to prepare tea or coffee in lounge rooms, the cooks will provide hot water, cups and saucers, if this special demand upon the ▇▇▇▇’▇ time is not unreasonable.
Teachers’ Lounge. The Union shall have the right to post information and announcements in the teachers' lounge, provided that the building principals are given a copy of any information to be posted.
