Common use of Technical Survey Clause in Contracts

Technical Survey. Without prejudice to the Owners’ obligations pursuant to Clause 14.6, if the survey report to be delivered as a condition to the drawdown of the Advance which shall be used to (inter alia) finance or refinance a Ship (as referred to in the applicable paragraph of Schedule 3) is not satisfactory to the Agent (acting reasonably), the Borrower shall procure that the relevant Owner shall promptly following the request of the Agent (to be made within 6 months of the Delivery Date of the relevant Ship or, as the case may be, the Drawdown Date relative to the Advance which was used (inter alia) to finance or refinance such Ship) submit the Ship owned by it for a technical survey by an independent surveyor or surveyors appointed by the Agent.
