Temperature Conditions. 1. Class 1 (normal): The battery operating temperature is less than 40°C all year round; or the battery operating temperature is within the range of 40°C to 50°C for less than 300 hours in a year. 2. Class 2 (harsh): The battery operating temperature is greater than 40°C for 300 hours or longer in a year.
