Temporary Contracts. All temporary contracts issued pursuant to Article 3.3 of this Agreement will include a notation indicating that the contract is a temporary, non-renewable contract. Individuals who hold a temporary contract shall have the rights and benefits provided by this Agreement except paragraphs 5.5, 7.6 and Article 6. If a teacher receives a continuing or renewable contract in the subsequent school year, the following shall apply: A. That teacher will be credited with the years served under the nonrenewable contract(s) for purposes of seniority. B. The year served on a one year contract will serve as the first year of the teacher’s probation.
