Temporary Out-of-Scope Appointment. An employee temporarily filling an out-of-scope position shall continue to have union dues deducted from her pay cheque and shall be entitled to all benefits and rights afforded by this Agreement.
Temporary Out-of-Scope Appointment. An employee who is temporarily filling an out-of-scope position shall continue to have Union dues deducted from his pay cheque and shall be entitled to all benefits and rights including seniority for the first six months. Where the temporary appointment is coverage/backfill for a maternity/paternity the leave may be extended by mutual agreement of the parties to extend the contractual rights for one year.
Temporary Out-of-Scope Appointment. An employee temporarily filling an out-of-scope position for less than 12 consecutive months shall continue to have Union dues deducted from each pay period for the purpose of seniority accrual and the employee being entitled to the rights and benefits provided by this Agreement upon their return to their union position.
Temporary Out-of-Scope Appointment. An employee who is temporarily filling an out of scope position shall continue to have union dues deducted from his pay cheque and shall be entitled to all benefits and rights including seniority for the first six months. Where the temporary appointment/backfill is for Maternity/Paternity leave coverage, the parties by mutual agreement shall extend these contractual rights up to one (1) year No employee shall be appointed to an out of scope position without his consent. An employee who is appointed to an out of scope position, shall have the right to revert to his most recent position within six (6) months from the date he moved into the out-of-scope position.

No Employee shall be appointed to an out-of-scope position without his consent.

  • Temporary Appointments Where operational requirements make it necessary, the Employer may make temporary appointments pending the posting and consideration of Union personnel pursuant to 16.01 above.

  • SUPPLIER'S APPOINTMENT The Authority hereby appoints the Supplier as a potential provider of the Services and the Supplier shall be eligible to be considered for the award of Orders for such Services by the Authority and Other Contracting Bodies during the Term and in consideration of the Supplier agreeing to enter into this Framework Agreement and to perform its obligations under it the Authority agrees to pay and the Supplier agrees to accept on the signing of this Framework Agreement the sum of one (£1.00) pound sterling (receipt of which is hereby acknowledged by the Supplier).

  • SUSPENSION OF SUPPLIER'S APPOINTMENT 31.1 If the Authority is entitled to terminate this Framework Agreement pursuant to Clause 30 (Authority Termination Rights), the Authority may instead elect in its sole discretion to suspend the Supplier's ability to accept Orders under this Framework Agreement by giving notice in writing to the Supplier, and the Supplier agrees that it shall not be entitled to enter into any new Call Off Agreement during the period specified in the Authority’s notice. 31.2 Any suspension under Clause 31.1 shall be without prejudice to any right of termination which has already accrued, or subsequently accrues, to the Authority. 31.3 The Parties acknowledge that suspension shall not affect the Supplier's obligation to perform any existing Call Off Agreements concluded prior to the suspension notice. 31.4 If the Authority provides notice to the Supplier in accordance with this Clause 31.1, the Supplier's appointment under this Framework Agreement shall be suspended for the period set out in the notice or such other period notified to the Supplier by the Authority in writing from time to time. 31.5 For the avoidance of doubt, no period of suspension under this Clause 31 shall result in an extension of the Framework Period.
