Temporary transfer of water Clause Samples

The 'Temporary transfer of water' clause allows for the short-term allocation or reallocation of water rights or usage from one party to another. Typically, this clause outlines the conditions under which water can be temporarily transferred, such as during periods of drought, maintenance, or when one party has surplus water that another party needs. It may specify the duration, quantity, and any regulatory approvals required for such transfers. The core function of this clause is to provide flexibility in water management, ensuring that water resources can be efficiently and legally shared or reallocated to address temporary needs or shortages.
