Tenants Use of a Contractor Clause Samples

The "Tenant's Use of a Contractor" clause defines the conditions under which a tenant may hire and utilize contractors for work within the leased premises. Typically, this clause outlines requirements such as obtaining the landlord's prior written approval, ensuring contractors are properly licensed and insured, and adhering to building rules and regulations. For example, it may specify that only contractors on an approved list can perform renovations or repairs. The core function of this clause is to protect the landlord's property interests and ensure that any work performed meets quality and safety standards, thereby minimizing potential risks and disputes.
