Common use of Termination by Party Clause in Contracts

Termination by Party. Any party may terminate its involvement in this Agreement by providing written notice to the Board of Selectmen of the Lead Financial Community. Upon such termination, the party shall be responsible for only its proportional share of any contracts that have been entered into with the approval of the Steering Committee prior to such notice of termination, in no event to exceed the amount contributed by the party under this Agreement.
