Common use of Termination of Deduction Clause in Contracts

Termination of Deduction. Deductions for Union dues and/or uniform assessments shall continue until either: 1) revoked by the employee by providing the Board and the Secretary-Treasurer of Local 850 with thirty (30) days written notice that he is terminating the prior checkoff authorization, 2) the expiration of the term of this collective bargaining agreement, 3) the termination of employment, or 4) the promotion or demotion of the authorizing employee out of this bargaining unit.
