Common use of Terms of Usage Clause in Contracts

Terms of Usage. The Resident accepts the apartment with the present appliances and fixtures. The apartment shall be surrendered in the same condition as it was received except for reasonable wear and shall be maintained in a reasonably neat manner. The apartment manager will go over the On-Campus Housing Inspection Form with the Resident upon check-in and move-out. a. All Residents are responsible to keep the common areas, hallways, walks, stairways and laundry areas clear of debris and clutter and may not be used for personal storage. a. Upon move in, the apartment will have been furnished with light bulbs of the prescribed wattage and appropriate fluorescent tubes; thereafter the Resident is responsible to replace any incandescent bulbs as necessary. The replacements must be of the same wattage and type as those currently in the fixture. i. Housing will replace florescent tubes (the overhead kitchen and closet lights) via the work order system.
