Vacancies that are created and approved by the Board of County 30 Commissioners to be effective the day following the layoff date shall be treated as 31 vacancies available during a layoff process. 1 2. Reassignment of employees to vacant positions within their 2 specialty area, if available, will always take precedence over their bumping another 3 employee; where multiple vacancies within the Physician’s specialty area are available, 4 the County will reassign the employee to one.
