The "Contractor’s Representative" clause designates an individual who is authorized to act on behalf of the contractor in all matters related to the contract. This representative is typically responsible for communicating with the client, making decisions, and ensuring that the contractor’s obligations are fulfilled according to the contract terms. For example, the representative may attend project meetings, approve changes, or address issues that arise during the work. The core function of this clause is to establish a clear point of contact and streamline communication, thereby reducing confusion and ensuring accountability throughout the project.
THE CONTRACTOR’S REPRESENTATIVE. 6.1. The Contractor’s Representative shall be the person specified in the Variables or such other person nominated in writing by the Contractor from time to time to act in the name of the Contractor for the purposes of the Contract.
6.2. From time to time the Contractor may notify the Council that it has appointed one or more representatives to act for the Contractor generally or for specified purposes or periods.
THE CONTRACTOR’S REPRESENTATIVE. The Contractor to whom the contract is awarded shall provide the following information in writing and submit it at the time and concurrently with the signed contract, contract bonds and certificates of insurance. Failure to comply may result in delays in the processing of the contract documents.
THE CONTRACTOR’S REPRESENTATIVE. If the dispute is referred to the Panel, the Panel shall meet to resolve the dispute within five Business Days of service of a Dispute Notice and a decision of the Panel shall be binding on the Parties.
THE CONTRACTOR’S REPRESENTATIVE. 8.1. The Contractor shall appoint a senior employee as the Contractor’s Representative for the proper administration of this Contract (except in the case of a sole trader when the Contractor’s Representative shall be the sole trader).
8.2. The Contractor’s Representative shall have suitable and sufficient qualifications and experience to carry out this function and shall be the representative empowered to act on behalf of the Contractor for all purposes connected with the Contract during the operation of the Services.
8.3. The Contractor’s Representative shall be the person specified in the Variables or such other person nominated in writing by the Contractor from time to time to act in the name of the Contractor for the purposes of the Contract.
8.4. The Contractor shall forthwith give notice in writing to the Authorised Officer of the identity, address and telephone numbers of any persons authorised to act for any period as deputy for the Contractor’s Representative and any changes in any such appointment.
8.5. From time to time the Contractor may appoint one or more representatives to act for the Contractor generally or for specified purposes or periods. Immediately any such appointment is made or terminated, the Contractor shall give written notice thereof to the Council and, until such notice is received, the Contractor shall be under no obligation to comply with any instruction issued by such representative.
8.6. Any notice, information, instruction or other communication given to the Contractor’s Representative shall be deemed to have been given to the Contractor.
THE CONTRACTOR’S REPRESENTATIVE. At the end of Sub-clause 4.3 the following shall be added: “If the Contractor’s Representative, or these persons, is/are not fluent in the Serbian language, the Contractor shall have available on Site, during all working hours, a competent interpreter to ensure the proper transmission of instructions and information. In the event the Contractor’s Representative is not authorised to lead construction works in compliance with Serbian law, the Contractor shall appoint a person with such authority to work with the Contractor’s Representative.”

THE CONTRACTOR’S REPRESENTATIVE. 5.2.1. The Contractor shall appoint a representative on its behalf who shall serve as the representative authorized to commit on behalf of the Contractor with respect any matter concerning this Contract and a single point of contact of the Contractor ("Contractor's Representative").
5.2.2. Contact details of the Contractor's Representative shall be provided to the IAA upon signing of this Agreement. Contractor's Representative shall be available by phone and e-mail, during customary business hours.
5.2.3. Contractor may replace Contractor's Representative, subject to the prior notification to the IAA.
5.2.4. In addition to the Contractor's Representative, the suppliers of the Generator and the Absorption Chiller are required to have a spare parts warehouse located in the Mediterranean area or in Europe as well as a local representative in Israel who has the means, experience, ability and manpower to provide the required maintenance and technical assistance with respect to the Equipment, in accordance with the service level agreement (SLA) requirements, that are specified in the Technical Specifications during the Warranty Period and the Technical Support Period, as shall be required by the IAA (the "Local Agent"). The Local Agent shall be present at the Site whenever necessary and shall provide technical assistance, as may be required by the IAA.
5.2.5. The IAA may demand the replacement of the Local Agent, at its sole discretion, for any reason and at any time, and the Contractor will be obligated to replace the Local Agent. The identity of the replacing representative shall be approved in advance by the IAA and in writing.
5.2.6. The Contractor shall be fully responsible and liable for any act and/or omission of the Local Agent in connection with actions and/or omissions made on behalf of the Contractor and/or hereunder.
5.2.7. The appointment of the Contractor's Local Agent and the consent of the IAA of the appointment thereof shall not release the Contractor from its responsibility and obligations under this Agreement.
THE CONTRACTOR’S REPRESENTATIVE. The Contractor's Representative will act as the agent of the Contractor (not as a certifier) in discharging each of the functions of the Contractor's Representative under the Subcontract. Any act which may be, or is required by this Subcontract to be, done by the Contractor may be done by the Contractor's Representative on the Contractor's behalf. The Subcontractor must: comply with any direction by the Contractor's Representative given or purported to be given under a provision of the Subcontract; and not comply with any direction of the Contractor other than as expressly stated in the Subcontract. Except where the Subcontract otherwise provides, the Contractor's Representative may give a direction orally but will as soon as practicable confirm it in writing. The Subcontractor must ensure that the Subcontractor's Representative is present on the Site at all times while it is carrying out the Subcontractor's Activities on Site. A direction is deemed to be given to the Subcontractor if it is given to the Subcontractor's Representative. The Subcontractor must employ those people specified in the Subcontract Particulars in the jobs specified in the Subcontract Particulars. The Subcontractor must not replace them without the Contractor's Representative's written approval unless any of them die, become seriously ill or resign from the employment of the Subcontractor in which case they will be replaced with persons of at least equivalent experience, ability and expertise approved by the Contractor's Representative.
