Common use of The Employer agrees to allow Clause in Contracts

The Employer agrees to allow. the bargaining unit to conduct regularly scheduled monthly meetings and other special meetings (with prior notification) at a Fire Division facility. On-duty members where the meeting is being held shall be permitted to attend while remaining available for emergency responses. Recognizing the need for maintaining adequate fire and EMS staffing in all districts, on-duty members stationed away from the meeting location may participate by phone, but may not attend without the written consent of the City Manager or his/her designee.
