The LinguaDict Lexicon. The LinguaDict lexicon in its German-English version is a state-of-the-art lookup resource; it is available both for online and offline (on mobile devices) lookup. It is a bilingual and directed lexicon; the language directions are built on the fly from a common data base. It consists of single and multiword entries, and offers part-of-speech, gender and inflection information, and a pronunciation for most entries. Examples are given in Fig. 2-2. Overall, the lexicon contains 212,000 entries (plus about 1000 entries without transfer (links for strong verbs etc.).
