The Right to Refuse Unsafe Work. The right to refuse unsafe work is defined in the Ontario Occupational Health and Safety Act. The OHSA allows individuals to refuse unsafe work provided certain criteria are met. Section 43 of the OHSA spells out the procedures you must follow. Note that this is a summary only.
