Third Party Recovery Sample Clauses

The Third Party Recovery clause establishes the rights and procedures for a party to seek compensation from external parties responsible for causing loss or damage covered by the contract. Typically, this clause outlines how any recoveries from third parties are to be handled, such as whether the recovering party must share proceeds with the other party or reimburse amounts already paid under the contract. Its core function is to prevent double recovery and ensure that any compensation received from third parties is fairly allocated, thereby clarifying the process and reducing disputes over recoveries.
