Common use of Third Shift Clause in Contracts

Third Shift. If a third shift is employed, the hours of work shall be six and one half (6 ½) hours per shift for which eight (8) hours will be paid. The third shift shall commence at 12:30 a.m. on Tuesday. This shift shall not attract Saturday premiums.
