Time and Attendance System. a. For the period of July 1, 2018 until June 30, 2019, the current payroll system shall be maintained. This is to allow time for the new time and attendance system to be implemented. Currently, a full time employee’s monthly gross pay is calculated by taking their total fiscal year salary and dividing it into equal payments based on the employee’s work schedule and payment option. Full time employees working less than twelve (12) months may request that their annual salary be divided and paid in twelve (12) equal checks. Employees working less than fifty (50) percent of the possible scheduled hours in their first month of employment or the first month of the fiscal year will be paid for actual time worked for that month. Equal monthly payments will begin the following monthly payroll. b. Upon implementation of the Employers time and attendance system, non- exempt employees will be paid for time worked in each pay period. Exempt employees will only be paid during the months in which they work. 1. In order to assist employees with this transition, the parties agree to continue to explore the options available to employees in order to assist with the implementation.
