TO THE CLIENT. A. Perform within the legal and ethical scope of nursing practice. B. Provide adequate and safe care within standards defined by professional and institutional/agency policies. C. Observe the professional boundaries of the student nurse-client relationship. Fraternizing with clients, former clients, and/or their families is forbidden during the length of the nursing program, including ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ and breaks between quarters. Each student must read the National Council State Boards of Nursing statement on Professional Boundaries in Quarter 1 (or upon entry to the Nursing Program) and upon reading, will sign a statement acknowledging understanding of the expected behaviors. Demonstrate respect for the client’s privacy when submitting written reports to instructors and by removing the client’s name, initials, room number, medical record number and any other identifying information on any care plan, lab report, etc. that is taken away from the nursing unit. Sign forms as requested by clinical agencies and the college, such as the confidentiality statement. ▇. ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ from going to the clinical area if own illness, medication/substance use or injury would interfere with client safety (See: Health of Students). G. Consult with instructor promptly if the client’s circumstances will interfere with providing effective care.
TO THE CLIENT. Any notice or other form of communication to the Client in respect of the Agreement may be given in any manner described below to the addresses or numbers provided by the Client and will be deemed effective as indicated: (i) if in writing and delivered in person or by courier, on the date it is delivered; (ii) if sent by facsimile transmission, on the date of transmission; (iii) if sent by mail (airmail if overseas), on the date it is delivered or date on which its delivery is attempted; (iv) if sent by e-mail or other electronic messaging system, on the date it is delivered; or (v) if by telephone or other oral communication, on the date the communication occurred, provided that it is confirmed by at least one of the methods specified in (i) to (iv) above.

If correspondence or documents, will be directed to the Client's e-mail address, they will be forwarded in the form of a password-protected file. For the purpose of transmitting correspondence or documents in connection with the execution of the Agreement, the password used in the Client's relations with the Bank established in the Account Agreement will apply, if it was provided by the Client. The password shall then be changed in accordance with the procedure provided for in the Account Agreement and shall not require an annex to the Agreement.

  • Client Client agrees to indemnify, defend, and shall hold harmless Consultant and /or his agents, and to defend any action brought against said parties with respect to any claim, demand, cause of action, debt or liability, including reasonable attorneys' fees to the extent that such action is based upon a claim that: (i) is true, (ii) would constitute a breach of any of Client's representations, warranties, or agreements hereunder, or (iii) arises out of the negligence or willful misconduct of Client, or any Client Content to be provided by Client and does not violate any rights of third parties, including, without limitation, rights of publicity, privacy, patents, copyrights, trademarks, trade secrets, and/or licenses.
