Traffic Supervisor. ‌ A full-time Traffic Supervisor will be on site to prevent or limit traffic disruptions to the surrounding area and assist the Environmental Monitor in verifying the Project's compliance to traffic safety measures as set in the Certificate and detailed in the Maintenance and Protection of Traffic Plan (“MPT”) found in Appendix B. The Traffic Supervisor will also oversee the installation of signage, verifying compliance with the New York State Department of Transportation (“NYSDOT”) Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices and that installation is done in accordance to any commitments to municipalities or other stakeholders. When Project activity requires closing a lane of traffic (e.g. during equipment delivery), the Traffic Supervisor will verify that the Contractor’s use of flagmen is consistent with the MPT.
Traffic Supervisor. The Traffic Control Supervisor is an experienced Traffic Controller, responsible for other Traffic Controllers on site. • A Traffic Supervisor MUST hold a First Aid Certificate Note: Traffic Supervisors must hold all tickets relevant to a traffic controller plus in addition all relevant tickets and qualifications to carry out the following task: • Measure out and setup up work site. • Direct and supervise movement of traffic controllers. • Select, Draw and modify traffic plans.

  • Site Safety Supervisor 62.1 On every job site, where the Employer is the principal contractor it shall appoint a management representative responsible for safety (Site Safety Supervisor). The Employer will ensure the Site Safety Supervisor has the necessary authority to ensure that all safety laws, procedures or Codes of Practice are observed, and that the following Safety Agreement is applied. 62.2 The Employer when appointing the person appointed as the Site Safety Supervisor must ensure that person has and maintainsthe appropriate experience and knowledge of the safety requirements of the work being performed. Other duties may be assigned by the Employer to a Site Safety Supervisor, provided that such duties shall not prevent him/her from exercising their duties as a Site Safety Supervisor.

  • CONTRACTOR SUPERVISION Contractor shall provide competent supervision of personnel employed on the job Site, use of equipment, and quality of workmanship.

  • Level Two - Superintendent If the aggrieved person is not satisfied with the disposition of his/her grievance at Level One, or if no decision is reached within six (6) school days after the grievance was referred to the building principal or immediate supervisor, then within ten (10) school days a written grievance shall be referred to the Superintendent. A decision shall be rendered by the Superintendent within ten (10) school days after its presentation.

  • Traffic Control The Surveyor shall control traffic in and near surveying operations adequately to comply with provisions of the latest edition of the Texas Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices – Part VI which can be found on the State’s internet site. In the event field crew personnel must divert traffic or close traveled lanes, a Traffic Control Plan based upon principles outlined in the latest edition of the Texas Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices – Part VI shall be prepared by the Surveyor and approved by the State prior to commencement of field work. A copy of the approved plan shall be in the possession of field crew personnel on the job site at all times and shall be made available to the State’s personnel for inspection upon request.

  • Immediate Supervisor The term "immediate supervisor" as used in this Article refers to the appropriate non-bargaining unit supervisory or management person to whom the employee is accountable.
