Training and Licensing. The City agrees to continue the practice of paying the cost of training and licenses for job related certification. Management reserves the right to approve for job-relatedness.
Training and Licensing. 1. The Employer and the Union are committed to providing the Employer's customers, and their tenants, security employees whose training meets all applicable standards and ensures a high level of customer service. 2. Employees shall be required to successfully complete all training established and mandated by the Employer. The Employer retains sole discretion to determine the type and scope of such training. In addition, the Employer may require additional training for employees tailored to classifications that the Employer may establish or for other reasons that the Employer determines appropriate. 3. Employees shall not be required to pay for the cost of any training required by the Employer. To the extent permitted by law, the Employees shall be responsible, however, for the payment of all applicable state licensing fees. All individuals who desire to work for the Employer must complete basic training prior to beginning their employment. Any time spent in post-hiring employer mandated training shall be paid at the officer’s regular rate of pay. 4. In the event a client requires licensing or training at a location, the Employer will use its best efforts to make arrangements with the client to allow existing employees sufficient time to obtain the required licensing or training within a reasonable amount of time while continuing to work at the location. If the Employer is not able to make such arrangements the Employer shall provide notice to the Union and meet to discuss the situation.
Training and Licensing. Any licenses or certificates which are job related shall be provided for by the City, but must have prior approval of the City Manager. For driver's licenses, the maximum amount of reimbursement will be the difference between the fee for the required driver's license and the fee for a normal operator's license.

  • Training and Promotion a. The contractor will assist in locating, qualifying, and increasing the skills of minorities and women who are applicants for employment or current employees. Such efforts should be aimed at developing full journey level status employees in the type of trade or job classification involved. b. Consistent with the contractor's work force requirements and as permissible under Federal and State regulations, the contractor shall make full use of training programs, i.e., apprenticeship, and on-the-job training programs for the geographical area of contract performance. In the event a special provision for training is provided under this contract, this subparagraph will be superseded as indicated in the special provision. The contracting agency may reserve training positions for persons who receive welfare assistance in accordance with 23 U.S.C. 140(a). c. The contractor will advise employees and applicants for employment of available training programs and entrance requirements for each. d. The contractor will periodically review the training and promotion potential of employees who are minorities and women and will encourage eligible employees to apply for such training and promotion.

  • Training and Orientation (a) No employee shall be required to work on any job or operate any piece of equipment until they have received proper training and instruction. (b) The Employer shall provide sufficient and adequate training and/or orientation to any employee working in a new or unfamiliar work area or position.

  • Training and Support Licensor shall offer installation support to the Licensee and each of the Members, including assisting with the implementation of any Licensor software. Licensor will provide appropriate training to Licensee and Member staff relating to the use of the Licensed Materials and any Licensor software. Licensor will offer reasonable levels of continuing support to assist Licensee and Members in use of the Licensed Materials, including providing help files and other appropriate user documentation in connection with the use of and access to Licensed Materials. Licensor will, at a minimum, make its personnel available by email, telephone or via the Web, or in person during Licensor’s regular business hours, Monday through Friday, for training and user access support.

  • Contractor Licensing, etc. Notwithstanding Section 14.c, District may terminate this Contract immediately by written notice to Contractor upon denial, suspension, revocation, or non-renewal of any license, permit, or certificate that Contractor must hold to provide services under this Contract.
