Common use of Training Conditions Clause in Contracts

Training Conditions. 7.4.1 The Trainee shall attend an approved training course or training program prescribed in the Traineeship Agreement or as notified to the trainee by the relevant State or Territory Training Authority in accredited and relevant Traineeship Schemes; or NETTFORCE if the Traineeship Scheme remains subject to interim approval. 7.4.2 A Traineeship shall not commence until the relevant Traineeship Agreement, made in accordance with a Traineeship Scheme, has been signed by the Company and the trainee and lodged for registration with the relevant State or Territory Training Authority or NETTFORCE, provided that if the Traineeship Agreement is not in a standard format a Traineeship shall not commence until the Traineeship Agreement has been registered with the relevant State or Territory Training Authority or NETTFORCE. The Company shall ensure that the Trainee is permitted to attend the training course or program provided for in the Traineeship Agreement and shall ensure that the Trainee receives the appropriate on-the-job training. 7.4.3 The Company shall provide a level of supervision in accordance with the Traineeship Agreement during the traineeship period. 7.4.4 The Company agrees that the overall training program will be monitored by officers of the relevant State or Territory Training Authority or NETTFORCE and that training records or work books may be utilised as part of this monitoring process. 7.4.5 Training shall be directed at: a) the achievement of key competencies required for successful participation in the workplace (where these have not been achieved) (eg. Literacy, numeracy, problem solving, team work, using technology), and as are proposed to be included in the Australian Vocational Certificate Level 1 qualification. This could be achieved through foundation competencies which are part of endorsed competencies for an industry or enterprise; and/or b) the achievement of competencies required for successful participation in an industry or enterprise (where there are endorsed national standards these will define these competencies), as are proposed to be included in the Australian Vocational Certificate Level 2 qualification or above.

Training Conditions. 7.4.1 2.1 The Trainee shall attend an approved training course or training program complete a Structured Training Program prescribed in the Traineeship Agreement Training Contract or as notified to the trainee by the relevant State or Territory Relevant NSW Training Authority in an accredited and relevant Traineeship Schemes; or NETTFORCE if traineeship. The Trainee shall complete all elements of the Traineeship Scheme remains subject to interim approvaltraining program in their own time. 7.4.2 2.2 A Traineeship shall not commence until the relevant Traineeship Agreement, made in accordance with a Traineeship SchemeTraining Contract, has been signed by the Company Employer and the trainee and lodged for registration with the relevant State or Territory Relevant NSW Training Authority or NETTFORCE, provided that if the Traineeship Agreement is not in a standard format a Traineeship shall not commence until the Traineeship Agreement has been registered with the relevant State or Territory Training Authority or NETTFORCE. Authority. 2.3 The Company shall ensure that the Trainee is permitted to attend the training course or program provided for in the Traineeship Agreement and Employer shall ensure that the Trainee receives the appropriate on-the-job training. 7.4.3 2.4 The Company Employer shall provide supervision of the Trainee by a level designated qualified member of supervision staff (the workplace supervisor), who is required to have an early childhood qualification of Diploma of Social Science (Child Studies) or equivalent or higher. The role of the workplace supervisor is to supervise the conduct of the Trainee in accordance with the Traineeship Agreement during workplace, to coach the traineeship periodTrainee so that they maximise their learning opportunities and assist in assessing the Trainee’s skills. 7.4.4 2.5 The Company Employer agrees that the overall training program will be monitored by officers of the relevant State or Territory Relevant NSW Training Authority or NETTFORCE and that training records or work books may be utilised as part of this monitoring process. 7.4.5 2.6 Training shall be directed at: a) 2.6.1 the achievement of key competencies required for successful participation in the workplace an industry or enterprise (where there are endorsed national standards these have not been achievedwill define these competencies) (eg. Literacy, numeracy, problem solving, team work, using technology), and as are proposed to be included in the an Australian Vocational Qualification Framework Certificate Level 1 qualification3 or above. This could be achieved through foundation competencies which are part of endorsed competencies for an industry or enterprise; and/or b) 2.6.2 the achievement of key competencies required for successful participation in an industry or enterprise (where there are endorsed national standards these will define these competencies), ) as are proposed to be included in the an Australian Vocational Qualification Framework Certificate Level 2 qualification 3 or above.

(b) the The achievement of competencies required for successful participation in an industry or enterprise (where there are endorsed national standards these will define these those competencies), as are proposed to be included in the Australian Vocational Certificate Level 2 qualification or above. 2.15.6.2 The Trainee or Apprentice shall attend an approved training course or training program prescribed in the Traineeship or Apprenticeship Agreement or as notified to the trainee/apprentice by the relevant State or Territory Training Authority in accredited and relevant Traineeship Schemes or Registered Training Organisation. 2.15.6.3 A Traineeship or Apprenticeship shall not commence until the relevant Traineeship/Apprenticeship Agreement, made in accordance with a Traineeship/Apprenticeship Scheme, has been signed by the Company and the trainee/apprentice and lodged for registration with the relevant State or Territory Training Authority. 2.15.6.4 The Company shall ensure that the Trainee or Apprentice is permitted to attend the training course or program provided for in the Traineeship or Apprenticeship Agreement and shall ensure that the Trainee/Apprentice receives the appropriate on-the-job training. 2.15.6.5 The Company shall provide a level of supervision in accordance with the Traineeship/Apprenticeship Agreement during the traineeship/apprenticeship period. 2.15.6.6 The Company agrees that the overall training program will be monitored by Officers of the relevant State or Territory Training Authority or Registered Training Organisation and that training records or work books may be utilised as part of this monitoring process. 2.15.6.7 The Company shall not terminate the employment of a Trainee or Apprentice without firstly having provided written notice of termination to the Trainee or Apprentice concerned in accordance with the Traineeship Agreement and subsequently to the relevant State or Territory Training Authority. 2.15.6.8 If the Company chooses not to continue the employment of a trainee/apprentice upon the completion of the traineeship/ apprenticeship it shall notify, in writing, the relevant State or Territory Training Authority of their decision. 2.15.6.9 The Trainee/Apprentice shall be permitted to be absent from work without loss of continuity of employment and/or wages to attend the training in accordance with the Traineeship or Apprenticeship Agreement. 2.15.6.10 Where the employment of a Trainee or Apprentice by the Company is continued after the completion of the traineeship or apprenticeship period, such traineeship period shall be counted as service for the purposes of the agreement or any other legislative entitlements. 2.15.6.11 The Company shall cooperate with the Registered Training Organisation in the training of an Apprentice in the manner recommended by the Registered Training Organisation and in accordance with the requirements of the relevant training package.

Literacye.g. literacy, numeracy, problem solving, team work, using technology), and as are proposed to be included in the Australian Vocational Certificate Qualification Framework Level 1 qualification. This could be achieved through foundation competencies which are part of endorsed competencies for an industry or enterprise; and/or b(ii) the achievement of competencies required for successful participation in an industry or enterprise (where there are endorsed national standards these will define these competencies), as are proposed to be included in the Australian Vocational Certificate Qualification Framework Level 2 II qualification or above.
