Common use of Training Priorities Clause in Contracts

Training Priorities. When training is undertaken, or planned to be undertaken by an employee at the Mackay Sugar Alliance, it shall prioritised in the following order: a. Priority 1: Training to provide for legal compliance, or safety compliance to perform a particular task described within the employee's current job design; b. Priority 2: Training to up-skill employees in order to meet a skill shortage within an employee's current job design; and c. Priority 3: Training to meet a need which is outside an employee's current job design - i. e. preparation of an employee for movement to a different position - covered by another job design (eg. promotion to supervisor or other position).
