Common use of Training Time Limits Clause in Contracts

Training Time Limits. For job classifications in Job Groups 2 to 7 of Schedule “A” the training for these employees shall commence from the date of the award and be completed within two hundred and forty (240) hours. Once the employee is awarded the training position he/she shall not be placed on another job until such time as she is considered trained. However, should the Employer be unable to comply with the above provisions they shall provide reasons for the delay by notifying the Shop ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ and Union. That notice shall include the revised commencement date and the training shall be completed within the two hundred and forty (240) hours training program. Employees taking training programs must perform the job they have trained for when required.

Once the employee is awarded the training position he/she they shall not be placed on another job until such time as she is they are considered trained.
