TRANSFER AND REASSIGNMENT PROCEDURES. (a) A “reassignment” is a change in the assignment of the member which does not include a change of location from that of the previously held position (e.g., a change in grade level within an elementary school or a change in teaching area/subject at a secondary building). (b) A “transfer” is a change in the location to which a member is assigned (e.g., a change from one middle or elementary school to another or a change from one high school to another or Linworth, or the converse).
