Transfer or Assignment of Rights to a Third Party Clause Samples

The "Transfer or Assignment of Rights to a Third Party" clause defines whether and how a party to the contract may transfer its rights or obligations under the agreement to another entity. Typically, this clause outlines any conditions or restrictions on such transfers, such as requiring prior written consent from the other party or specifying certain circumstances under which assignment is permitted. Its core practical function is to maintain control over who is involved in the contractual relationship, thereby preventing unwanted or unapproved parties from gaining rights or responsibilities under the contract.
