Transfers from BIN II Bargaining Unit into Other Bargaining Units. (a) The Company may temporarily transfer employees by reverse seniority on a shift to perform work in other bargaining units. (b) Subject to Article 12.03, salary will be subject to the “Wages” Article of the unit in which the transfer is done. However, when an apprenticeship scale is involved, the employee will be incorporated into the scale and the time executed in the position will be accumulated for wage progression. (c) If there is a need for a permanent position and there is more than one trained employee, selection will be subject to provision of theJob Posting” article of the bargaining unit employees is transferred into. If an employee becomes permanent, employees will be subject to the conditions specified in the “Seniority” article of the bargaining unit employees is transferred into. (d) An employee temporarily transferred will maintain his/her seniority rights under this collective agreement.

  • Bargaining Units The bargaining units shall consist of: (A) All full-time, sworn police officers below the rank of Sergeant who are employed by the City of Columbus, Ohio, Division of Police. (B) All full-time, sworn police officers holding the rank of Sergeant or above who are employed by the City of Columbus, Ohio, Division of Police, but excluding the Chief and Deputy Chiefs.
