Trustee Protected Sample Clauses
The 'Trustee Protected' clause serves to limit the personal liability of a trustee acting on behalf of a trust. In practice, this means that any obligations, liabilities, or claims arising under the agreement are enforceable only against the assets of the trust, not against the trustee personally. For example, if the trust enters into a contract and a dispute arises, only the trust's assets can be targeted for recovery, not the trustee's own property. This clause is essential for protecting trustees from personal financial risk and encourages individuals to serve as trustees without fear of personal exposure.
