Type of Tenancy. This Agreement is intended to create an Assured Shorthold Tenancy under Part I of Chapter II of the Housing Act 1988 (as amended) (HA 1988) and shall take effect subject to the provisions for the recovery of possession set out in section 21 of HA 1988. The Tenant acknowledges receipt of the current Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government's How to Rent β the checklist for renting in England by signing this Agreement.
