Types of Schedules a. Full-time employees will be given a fixed schedule. Fixed schedules may consist of different weekly tours of duty but do not vary from pay period to pay period, and may be rotating or non-rotating. b. Fixed schedules for part-time employees will remain the same at each Commissary, or be established, only where operational needs permit. c. It is understood that work schedules are subject to change depending on the operational needs of the Employer and/or availability of employees. Such needs as rotating receivers and accommodating light duty needs may affect scheduling. Such cases will not be subject to the provisions of Section 16. The Employer will attempt to keep work schedule changes to a minimum, consistent with operational needs. Personal needs exceptions will be considered on an equitable basis.
Types of Schedules. A. The Standard Workweek For all Agencies, the basic workweek shall consist of five consecutive eight-hour work days, Monday through Friday (with the same starting and finishing time each day) except for those employees with rescheduling authority as agreed upon by the NCFLL and Management, first 40-hour tour of duty, a compressed work schedule or flexi-time. Part-time Economic Assistants in BLS may be scheduled for up to five days of work in any calendar week. Daily hours may be scheduled by the supervisor. The function of these exceptions is to enhance the ability of the Agencies to carry out their missions and to address employee needs. B. Variable Week Variable Week is a flexible schedule containing core time on each workday in the biweekly pay period in which a full-time employee has a basic work requirement of 80 hours for the biweekly pay period. An employee may vary the number of hours worked on a given workday or the number of hours each week, within the limits established for the organization. Credit hours are applicable to this schedule. C. MSHA First 40-Hour Tour of Duty The basic workweek for first 40-hour tour of duty for MSHA Authorized Representatives and Right of Entry employees shall be the first 40-hours worked within a period of five consecutive days in the Sunday through Saturday administrative workweek, beginning as early as Sunday, but no later than Tuesday unless requested by the employee and approved by management. In accordance with 5 CFR 610.111(b), a first 40-hour tour of duty is the basic workweek without the requirement for specific days and hours within the administrative workweek. An employee may vary the number of hours worked on a given workday within the week. This scheduling may be subject to the mission needs of the Agency and will be consistent with applicable laws and regulations. An exception to the above may be made for professional technical staff in district offices that elect to work a different schedule. Such election is subject to Management approval, Agency mission, and must be in accordance with applicable law, regulation, and consistent with other provisions of this Agreement. D. Compressed Schedule Compressed Schedule is a fixed, non-flexible schedule constituting an 80-hour bi-weekly basic work requirement which is scheduled for less than ten workdays. Modified Flexitour is the same as Flexitour except that the employee may modify his/her schedule with the prior approval of the supervisor. Credit hours are not applicable to this schedule. 3. Gliding Schedule is a flexible schedule containing core time on each workday in which a full-time employee has a basic work requirement of eight hours in each day and 40 hours in each week, and may select an arrival time each day and may change the arrival time daily as long as it is within the established flexible time band. Modified Gliding Schedule is the same as Gliding Schedule except employees must insure minimum coverage is maintained during customer service hours. Credit hours may be applicable to this schedule if negotiated at the Regional level. 4. Variable Day is a flexible schedule containing core time on each workday in the week and in which a full- time employee has a basic work requirement of 40 hours in each week. An employee may vary the number of hours worked on a given workday within the week, within the limits established for the organization. Credit hours are applicable to this schedule. 5. Flexible First 40 Tour of Duty is a flexible schedule for MSHA Right of Entry employees only in which a full-time employee has a basic work requirement of the first 40 hours worked during not more than five consecutive days in the Sunday through Saturday administrative workweek, beginning as early as Sunday but no later than Monday unless requested by the employee and approved by Management. Types of Schedules. Employees working a five day, forty hour week (designated 5/40) shall work eight (8) hours per day for five (5) consecutive days in any workweek and shall receive two (2) consecutive days off. Employees working a 9-day bi-weekly schedule (designated as 9/80) shall work eight 9-hour days and one 8-hour day in a 10-day period and receive two (2) consecutive days off each week plus an additional day off bi-weekly. This schedule is considered to be an Alternate Work Schedule. Employees working a four day, forty hour week (designated 4/40) shall work ten (10) hours per day for four (4) days in any workweek and shall receive at least two (2) consecutive days off. This schedule is considered to be an Alternate Work Schedule. The City will notify the LVCEA of any and all proposed schedules that are outside of the normal 5/8 schedule. The City will meet and confer with the LVCEA upon request. Employees shall not be assigned or required to work split shifts without the LVCEA’s consent.

  • Shift Schedules 1501 Shift schedules for a minimum of a four (4) week period shall be posted at least two (2) weeks in advance of the beginning of the scheduled period. Shifts within the minimum four (4) week period shall not be altered after posting except by mutual agreement between the nurse(s) concerned and the Employer. Requests for specific days off duty shall be submitted in writing at least two (2) weeks prior to posting and granted, if possible in the judgment of the Employer. 1502 Requests for interchanges in posted shifts or a portion thereof shall also be submitted in writing, co-signed by the nurse willing to exchange shifts with the applicant. Where reasonably possible, interchanges in posted shifts are to be completed within the posted shift schedule. It is understood that any change in shifts or days off initiated by the nurses and approved by the Employer shall not result in overtime costs to the Employer. 1503 Night shift shall be considered as the first shift of each calendar day. 1504 Master rotations for each nursing unit shall be planned by the Employer in meaningful consultation with the nurse(s) concerned. The process for meaningful consultation shall include:  Employer proposes a master rotation including the Employer established criteria and provides to Nurses concerned  Nurses are provided reasonable time to submit feedback and/or an alternate master rotation for consideration.  The amended or new master rotation is provided to Nurses for review. Nurses are provided with a reasonable time to submit feedback.  At each step of the consultation process the Union will be provided with the new or revised master rotation to ensure contract compliance.  Employer has the sole discretion to select the new master rotation and provides rationale for the selection. Master Rotations shall, unless otherwise mutually agreed between the nurse(s) concerned and the Employer, observe the conditions listed hereinafter: (a) a minimum of fifteen hours (15) off between assigned shifts. (b) (i) a minimum of forty-seven (47) hours off at one time, or

  • Exhibits/Schedules The Exhibits and Schedules to this Agreement are hereby incorporated and made a part hereof and are an integral part of this Agreement. All Exhibits and Schedules annexed hereto or referred to herein are hereby incorporated in and made a part of this Agreement as if set forth in full herein. Any capitalized terms used in any Schedule or Exhibit but not otherwise defined therein shall be defined as set forth in this Agreement.

  • Annexes, Appendices and Footnotes The annexes, appendices and footnotes to this Agreement constitute an integral part of this Agreement.

  • Schedules Schedules to this Agreement form a part of it.

  • Updates to Schedules Should any of the information or disclosures provided on any of the Schedules attached hereto become outdated or incorrect in any material respect, the Borrower shall promptly provide the Agent in writing with such revisions or updates to such Schedule as may be necessary or appropriate to update or correct same; provided, however, that no Schedule shall be deemed to have been amended, modified or superseded by any such correction or update, nor shall any breach of warranty or representation resulting from the inaccuracy or incompleteness of any such Schedule be deemed to have been cured thereby, unless and until the Required Banks, in their sole and absolute discretion, shall have accepted in writing such revisions or updates to such Schedule.
