Common use of Unanticipated Overtime Clause in Contracts

Unanticipated Overtime. Where overtime is unanticipated (less than 24 hours in advance), overtime shall be offered by seniority to qualified employees who are at work. If no qualified employee accepts the overtime offered, the employer may offer the overtime by seniority to any available and qualified employee.
