Common use of Unauthorized Overpayments Clause in Contracts

Unauthorized Overpayments. 1 Any employee who receives payments to which he or she is not entitled, 2 including but not limited to premium pay, shift differential, overtime pay, step increases, or 3 any other salary, wage, or reimbursement which is not authorized by this contract or County 4 Personnel Rules, and which the employee knew or reasonably should have known he or she 5 was not entitled to receive, shall reimburse the county for the full amount of the 6 overpayment.
