Unauthorized Use of Your Password Clause Samples

The "Unauthorized Use of Your Password" clause defines the user's responsibility for maintaining the confidentiality and security of their account credentials. It typically states that users must not share their passwords and are liable for any activity conducted under their account, even if such activity was not authorized by them. For example, if someone else accesses the account using the user's password, the user may still be held accountable for any resulting actions or damages. This clause serves to protect the service provider from liability and encourages users to safeguard their login information, thereby reducing the risk of unauthorized access and potential misuse of the account.
