Underlying Instruments Sample Clauses
The 'Underlying Instruments' clause defines the specific assets, securities, or financial products that form the basis for a contract or transaction, such as derivatives or structured products. This clause typically lists or describes the stocks, bonds, indices, or other instruments whose value or performance will determine the obligations or payouts under the agreement. By clearly identifying what constitutes the underlying instruments, the clause ensures both parties have a mutual understanding of the contract's scope and helps prevent disputes over what assets are covered.
