Unfilled Extended Temporary Positions. A. Extended temporary positions that have not been filled by the bid process above shall be offered to the most senior Masters on the Masters bidding list. B. RULE 26LABOR MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE‌ 26.1 Purpose‌ A. A Labor Management Committee (LMC) shall be formed to promote a constructive and cooperative relationship. The purpose of the LMC is to provide communication between the parties, to share information, to make recommendations to improve operating efficiencies and safety on vessels of WSF. B. To fulfill this purpose, the LMC may review all terms of the parties existing collective bargaining agreement and all WSF policies, procedures and practices affecting matters of operational efficiency and safety. The LMC may recommend modifications to current policies, procedures and practices which are consistent with existing contract terms. 26.2 Committee‌ A. Either party may propose items for discussion on topics which may include, but are not limited to: administration of the Agreement, changes to applicable law, legislative updates, and /or resolving workplaces problems. B. The LMC will meet and discuss and exchange information of a group nature and general interest to both parties. C. The LMC will consist of not more than three (3) members appointed by each party. By mutual agreement, the LMC may invite other individuals (e.g., subject matter experts or observers) to attend and participate in LMC meetings. D. Meetings will be chaired alternately by a WSF designee and a union representative, who shall be designated by the Vice President of the United Inland Group.

  • Temporary Positions A) The Employer may create regular temporary positions for vacation relief for more than one (1) incumbent for up to six (6) months duration. B) The Employer may create regular temporary project positions (i.e. grant funded, capital projects, pilot projects, or term specific assignments) for up to twelve (12) months’ duration.
