UNION COMMITTEES AND STEWARDS. 7.01 (a) Negotiating Committee The Union has the right to elect or otherwise select a Union Negotiating Committee of a maximum of three (3) representatives from the bargaining unit, one of whom shall be the Chief ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇, or designate. The members of the Committee will be Employees of the Employer who have completed their probationary period. The duties of the Committee shall be to negotiate renewal agreements with the Employer. The Negotiating Committee will be assisted by a Union Staff Representative. Negotiating Team members will be paid for time spent in negotiation meetings with the Employer.
