Common use of Union/Management Committee Clause in Contracts

Union/Management Committee. 15.01 a) In order to build a cooperative relationship between the Employer, the Union and the employees, Union- Management meetings will be scheduled quarterly. The meetings will serve as a forum for discussion and consultation about policies and practices covered by, and not necessarily covered by the Collective Agreement affecting the project. The areas for discussion will include but not be limited to the following: i) hiring policies; ii) discipline and discharge policies; iii) training and promotion; iv) safety measures; v) matters that affect the working conditions of the employees.
