UNION RIGHTS/REPRESENTATION. 7.01 Union representation and rights The Union shall have the exclusive right to determine and select representatives as they deem necessary. Representation shall be without interference, or reprisal from the Employer. Representation shall be to the extent that representatives must receive prior approval from their supervisor, and shall have the right to represent any employee in the bargaining unit upon their request, or as otherwise provided for under the provisions of this agreement. Such time off or representation shall not be arbitrarily withheld by the Employer, and shall be without loss of pay or benefits and shall include grievance and arbitration procedure. No representative shall be paid for any time during their off duty hours. Representation on the local Union level shall mean ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ or their designee.
