b. The Board shall deduct dues from the wages of all employees who are members of the Union on the date of exertion of this Agreement and whose dues authorization forms have been submitted to the Board Treasurer on or before September 1 of each year, except in order to comply with a change in by the Constitution and By-laws Local Treasurer of the Union. The Union will provide to Treasurer of OAPSE Local #030 shall notify the Company written notice Board Treasurer on or before September 1 of each year of the amount of regular monthly local and state dues to be deducted from each Union member employee’s wages. Except as specified in sub-section (c) below, such deductions shall remain continuous for the life of the contract or until such time as the employee quits, resigns, or is terminated.
c. The Board’s obligation to make deductions shall terminate when an employee submits, in writing, for revocation of dues authorization during the ten (10) day period prior to the expiration of the Negotiated Agreement. Such authorization must be submitted to the OAPSE State Treasurer for approval of revocation of dues.
4.03 All duesd. Union dues deductions will normally be twenty-two (22) payroll deductions encompassing an eleven (11) month period beginning with the first pay in October.
e. Newly hired employees after October 1 shall be entitled to payroll deduction privileges, initiation fees and assessments deducted will if their authorized payroll deduction forms are submitted to the Board Treasurer within thirty (30) days from the date of their initial employment.
f. Deduction for any given month shall be remitted to the Local State Union Financial Secretary within fourteen (14) days of OAPSE by the 10th of the following month following with a list of those for whom deductions were made.

UNION SECURITY AND DUES CHECK-OFF. 4.01 All current and The Company agrees that there shall be no discrimination against any new employees for belonging to the Union, or carrying out Union policy within the terms of this Agreement.
4.02 The Company agrees that any employee who, at the date of the CompanyAgreement is a member of the Union, or any employee who hereafter during the term of this Agreement, becomes a member of the Union shall, as a condition of continued employment, maintain membership in good standing.
4.03 The Company agrees that when in need of additional help in the shop it will call the Union Office and give it a reasonable opportunity to provide a qualified and suitable worker. If the Union is unable to provide such a person within reasonable time, the Company shall be free to hire any worker of its own choosing. In the event of a Union supplied worker not being suitable or qualified, the Company shall be free to request a replacement or terminate the person. The Company shall not be required to rehire any person replaced or terminated.
4.04 All new, substitute and/or casual employees, as a condition of employment, shall make application within one hundred and twenty (120) working days to the Union for membership in accordance with the Union's Constitution and/or Bylaws.
4.05 The Union may at its discretion waive the application for membership provided the casual employee is a member in good standing of another Union recognised by the Union signatory to this Agreement.
4.06 It is further agreed and understood that all employees will, as a condition of employment, become and remain members of the sign an authorisation to have deducted from their pay, Union in good standingdues. New employees when signing such authorisation shall also authorise initiation or reinstatement fees by payroll deduction, as provided in the Constitution and By-laws of the Union. All current employees, who have not already done so, will may from time to time be required to sign an application for membership and authorization for dues check off and initiation fee. The application form will be supplied established by the Union to the Company. The form will be signed and returned to the Local Union Financial Secretary within fourteen (14) days of the execution of this Agreement. 4.04 The Company will also provide by means of a statement listing those employees who did not have dues deducted and the reason why no deduction took place.

4.07 The Union will indemnify the Company against any claim or liability arising out of the application of this Article, except for any claim or liability arising out of an error committed by the Company.bargaining unit;
