UNSCHEDULED OR EMERGENCY CALLBACK PAY. ▇▇ employee called to work for an unscheduled or emergency occurrence between the closing time of his/her regular work shift and the starting time of his/her next regular work shift shall be paid a minimum of two (2) hours pay at double the normal rate of pay, except as provided in Section 11-A-2, Overtime. This callback time will not apply to overtime worked consecutive to his/her regular work shift.

  • CONDITIONS FOR EMERGENCY/HURRICANE OR DISASTER - TERM CONTRACTS It is hereby made a part of this Invitation for Bids that before, during and after a public emergency, disaster, hurricane, flood, or other acts of God that Orange County shall require a “first priority” basis for goods and services. It is vital and imperative that the majority of citizens are protected from any emergency situation which threatens public health and safety, as determined by the County. Contractor agrees to rent/sell/lease all goods and services to the County or other governmental entities as opposed to a private citizen, on a first priority basis. The County expects to pay contractual prices for all goods or services required during an emergency situation. Contractor shall furnish a twenty-four (24) hour phone number in the event of such an emergency.

  • Unforeseeable Emergency In the event of a Participant’s Unforeseeable Emergency, such Participant may request an emergency withdrawal from his or her Account. Any such request shall be subject to the approval of the Administrator, which approval shall not be granted to the extent that such need may be relieved (i) through reimbursement or compensation by insurance or otherwise or (ii) by liquidation of the Participant’s assets (to the extent the liquidation of such assets would not itself cause severe financial hardship). A Participant may withdraw all or a portion of his or her Account due to an Unforeseeable Emergency; provided, however, that the withdrawal shall not exceed the amount reasonably needed to satisfy the need created by the Unforeseeable Emergency.

  • Emergency Calls IP Phones need an additional power supply to operate. In the event of a power failure it is your responsibility to ensure you have the means to make emergency calls. In accordance with paragraph 13.2, we will not be liable for any loss or damage (financial or otherwise) where you fail to do so.

  • Unforeseeable difficulties Except as otherwise stated in the Agreement: (a) the Contractor accepts complete responsibility for having foreseen all difficulties and costs of successfully completing the Works; (b) the Contract Price shall not be adjusted to take account of any unforeseen difficulties or costs; and (c) the Scheduled Completion Date shall not be adjusted to take account of any unforeseen difficulties or costs.
