Common use of Unworked Holidays Clause in Contracts

Unworked Holidays. Employees shall receive eight (8) hours pay for unworked holidays (those holidays designated above), at their base rate in effect at the time the holiday occurs, plus applicable shift differential and Cost of Living Adjustment, if, on the holiday, they are on the active payroll, including those on approved leave of absence for not longer than ninety (90) calendar days. Employees not on leave of absence who take leave without pay (LWOP) at the time the holiday occurs shall be eligible for holiday pay.

Unworked Holidays. Employees not on leave of absence who take leave without pay 9 (LWOP) at the time the holiday occurs shall be eligible for holiday pay.

Unworked Holidays. 9 Employees will be paid for holidays that fall within their assigned work year, provided they work 10 the regular workday before and the regular workday after the holiday, or the employee is on an 11 authorized absence with pay. Eligible employees shall receive eight (8) hours pay for unworked holidays (those holidays designated above), equal to their normal work 12 shift at their base hourly rate in effect at the time the holiday occurs, plus applicable shift differential and Cost of Living Adjustment, if, on the holiday, they are on the active payroll, including those on approved leave of absence for not longer than ninety (90) calendar days. Employees not on leave of absence who take leave without pay (LWOP) at the time the holiday occurs shall be eligible for holiday pay.

Employees not on leave of absence who take leave without pay (LWOP) at the time the holiday occurs shall be eligible for holiday pay.20
