Upgrade Versions Sample Clauses

The "Upgrade Versions" clause defines the process and conditions under which software or systems covered by an agreement may be updated to newer versions. Typically, this clause outlines whether upgrades are included as part of the service, if additional fees apply, and how clients will be notified or provided access to new versions. For example, it may specify that all minor updates are included at no extra cost, while major upgrades require a separate purchase. The core function of this clause is to set clear expectations regarding the availability and terms of software upgrades, thereby preventing disputes and ensuring both parties understand their rights and obligations concerning future versions.
