Usage Metric Clause Samples

A Usage Metric clause defines the specific criteria or measurements used to track and quantify how a product, service, or resource is utilized under an agreement. This clause typically outlines what constitutes usage—such as number of users, transactions, data volume, or time spent—and establishes how these metrics are monitored and reported. By clearly specifying the basis for usage, the clause ensures accurate billing, fair allocation of costs, and helps prevent disputes over service consumption.
