Use of Agency. Contract Nurses to Perform Unit Work: The Hospital has the right to use PRN, weekend nurses, temporary nurses, nurse staffing agencies/contingent workers, and traveling nurses to address operational and patient care needs. Except for groups of employees hired to meet specific needs (such as PRN or Weekend programs), temporary, contingent, or agency employees shall be used only to meet temporary or emergency needs, or during times when the supply of nurses cannot meet the Hospital’s demands for qualified nurses, as determined by the Hospital.
