Common use of Use of Buildings and Facilities Clause in Contracts

Use of Buildings and Facilities. the Association and its members shall have the right to make use of school buildings and facilities including audiovisual equipment for the purpose of exercising rights under the Public Employment Relations Act consistent with the Civic Center Act and Board Policy and the right to confer with members at hours when members of the unit are not required to render services and when such buildings and facilities are not otherwise in direct use by the staff in the performance of their duties. In exercising the preceding rights, the Association shall reimburse the District for damage to or loss of District property and shall not interfere with school programs.
