Use of Excluded Employees Sample Clauses

Use of Excluded Employees. Nothing in this Agreement will prohibit any persons excluded from the bargaining unit or volunteers from doing bargaining unit work, provided that it does not cause the layoff or reduction in straight time hours of any bargaining unit employee, nor will such persons become subject to any of the terms and conditions of this Agreement by doing so.
Use of Excluded Employees. Nothing in this Agreement prohibits bargaining unit work from being performed by non-bargaining unit employees or (in emergency situations) unpaid volunteers, provided it does not cause the layoff of any bargaining unit employee, and such persons shall not become subject to the terms and conditions of this Agreement. It is expressly understood and agreed that this includes, but is not limited to, assigning a supervisory employee to perform bargaining unit duties for purposes of relief for breaks and meal periods.
