Use of Written Reprimand. Any written reprimand given to an employee shall not be used for any purpose external to the Village. Any written reprimand, no matter how old, may be introduced when relevant at a disciplinary proceeding before the Board of Police Commissioners or otherwise used for any reasonable purpose internal to the Village.
